Prior to joining Stifel in 2025, Hal began his investment industry career as a financial advisor with Robinson-Humphrey in 1995 and joined Morgan Keegan in 2005, which became a part of Raymond James in 2012. Hal earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgia and is a graduate of Stratford Academy.
With 30 years of industry experience, Hal has helped clients navigate a variety of market environments. He builds strong relationships to better understand clients’ goals, including those for retirement. This understanding supports the development of custom strategies for each element of the wealth management equation.

Active in his community, Hal is a former board member for the Museum of Arts and Sciences, past vice president of the Idle Hour Country Club, and has served on the Christ Church Vestry. He is also past president of the Macon Civic Club.
Hal lives in his hometown of Macon, Georgia, with his wife, Jenny. Together, they have three children, Maggie, Harry, and Eli. Outside the office, Hal enjoys skiing and golfing.

With more than 19 years of prior experience as a lawyer, George brings a thoughtful perspective to wealth management. He enjoys engaging with clients and building authentic relationships to help them pursue their financial goals.
George joined Greer Wealth Advisors of Raymond James in 2021, drawn by the chance to be a part of the family practice. Prior to Raymond James, he practiced law in middle Georgia, specializing in land use, real estate development, and estate planning law. Most recently, he was a partner at Spivey Pope Green & Greer, where he spent a decade of his career. George joined Stifel in 2025.
George is passionate about helping clients in their endeavors to manage, preserve, and ultimately transfer their wealth in accordance with their wishes, and his legal background offers the team fresh insight. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and a Juris Doctorate from Mercer University.
Active in the community, George is a member of the 21st Century Partnership for Robins Air Force Base board. He has served as stewardship committee chairman for Christ Episcopal Church, as chairman and board member for the Macon Economic Development Commission, as Bibb County Economic Development Champion, and as chairman and board member of the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce.
George lives in his hometown of Macon, Georgia, with his wife, Anna, and their two children, Kate and Hank. Outside the office, he enjoys playing golf and guitar.
Ryan began his investment industry career in 2005 and joined Stifel in 2025. Prior to joining Stifel, he was a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley and A.G. Edwards. Ryan joined the Greer Wealth Advisors team of Raymond James in 2017. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Mercer University.
Ryan helps his clients create wealth management plans tailored to their needs and goals with a straightforward approach. His 20 years of investment industry experience provide him the accumulated knowledge to help guide clients to and through retirement. Ryan prides himself on his ability to listen well and explain complex topics in a way that’s easy to understand. He believes that when a client chooses the Greer Financial Group, it is an honor and responsibility the team embraces.
An active member of his community, Ryan currently serves as president of the board of The Fuller Center in Macon, Georgia. He is also a former ambassadors chairman for the Macon Chamber of Commerce.
Ryan grew up in South Carolina and moved to Macon, Georgia, to attend Mercer University. He still calls the area home and now lives there with his wife, Melanie, and their children, Allie and Bella. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities, particularly golf, and spending time with his family. He is a longtime member of Ingleside Baptist Church.
Sheri began her financial services career in 1986 as New Accounts Specialist with Valdosta Federal Savings and Loan during college. After graduating from Valdosta State University, she joined Robinson-Humphrey Company in Macon, Georgia. In 2003, she decided to pursue her dream of helping clients with their financial goals and retirement planning and became a financial advisor, spending 14 years at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, which was formerly a division of Citigroup Global Wealth Management. She joined Raymond James in 2017 before transitioning to Stifel in 2025.
With more than three decades of investment industry experience, Sheri focuses on guiding her clients in their endeavors to build, manage, and preserve their wealth by having a comprehensive understanding of their goals. Though she serves a variety of clients, Sheri specializes in helping pre-retirees, retirees, and women investors.
Active in her community, Sheri is a member of North Macon Rotary Club and Martha Bowman United Methodist Church and is a committee member for Depaul USA Daybreak of Macon. She is also passionate about serving the American Heart Association and was Chairwoman of the Go Red for Women Gala in 2019.
Originally from Maitland, Florida, Sheri lives in Macon, Georgia with her husband, John. Together, they have a daughter, Kelby. Outside the office, Sheri enjoys gardening, entertaining, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
Maggie began her investment industry career in 2024 and joined Stifel in 2025. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Consumer Economics from the University of Georgia in Athens, she took a seasonal position at the A Bar A Ranch in Wyoming, where she quickly fell in love with the West. This passion led Maggie to Jackson Hole, where she worked at the Four Seasons in Human Resources, specializing in full-cycle recruitment. Maggie moved to Denver, Colorado, continuing her work in Talent Acquisition with a full-cycle staffing firm. After three years out West, she returned to Georgia and joined the team. Maggie holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.
Maggie’s philosophy is rooted in personal experience and family values. Her time in hospitality taught her the importance of creating meaningful experiences and building genuine relationships, which are principles that now guide her approach to wealth management. Maggie believes trust, integrity, and strong personal connections are the foundation of financial success. Her goal is to help individuals, families, and businesses navigate their financial journey with confidence.
Outside the office, Maggie is a member of the Women of UGA Alumnae Association and a proud alumna of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority at the University of Georgia. She is also a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Macon, Georgia. A passionate animal lover, Maggie previously volunteered with PAWS of Jackson Hole and looks forward to continuing her work with animal rescue organizations in Georgia.
Mai began her investment industry career in 2001 and joined Stifel in 2025. Prior to joining Stifel, she worked at Morgan Keegan, which became a part of Raymond James in 2012. Mai previously held the role of a Registered Operations Manager. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, and an MBA from Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville.
Mai possesses a strong commitment to top-tier customer service, with a proactive approach. Her responsibilities cover a number of areas, including processing money movement requests, setting up and processing systematic and on-demand withdrawals, fee resolution, on-demand trades, and other administrative duties. Mai believes in going the extra mile for the team’s clients.
Outside the office, Mai enjoys community theater and serves as a board member at Theatre Macon. She’s also a trivia buff and appeared on “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” with Meredith Vieira in 2005 and on “Jeopardy!” with Alex Trebek in 2015. Mai lives in her hometown of Macon, Georgia.
Lois began her investment industry career in 2010 and joined Stifel in 2025. Prior to joining Stifel, she worked at Morgan Keegan, which became a part of Raymond James in 2012. She also served as a Sales Assistant at Robinson-Humphrey Co, as well as an Operations Specialist.
Lois is often the first friendly face people meet when opening new accounts with the Greer Financial Group. She supports the team in various other ways and handles questions and requests from clients in an efficient manner. Lois’s goal is to offer service with integrity, efficiency, and trustworthiness.
Lois earned a Bachelor’s in Human Services and a Master’s in Human Services with a concentration in Gerontology from Mercer University.
Lois lives in her hometown of Macon. Outside the office, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her children, Jada, Rakim, and Aaron, and her granddaughter, Laila.
Mary Charles began her investment industry career in 2009 and joined Stifel in 2025. Prior to joining Stifel, she worked at Morgan Keegan, which became a part of Raymond James in 2012. She also served as a Public Relations Administrative Coordinator for Georgia Industrial Children’s home, as well as a Development Manager for Ronald McDonald House. Mary Charles earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Public Relations from Valdosta State University.
Mary Charles helps the team create a personalized client experience, handling client communications, including market updates, client events, and e-mails. She also helps new clients set up their accounts and welcomes new clients to Greer Financial Group. Her professionalism shines through in each interaction.
Active in her community, Mary Charles is a member of Mulberry Street United Methodist Church, where she is a part-time nursery coordinator. She is a past board member and past president of Children’s Center at Mulberry, as well as a past member of Junior League of Macon.
Originally from Perry, Georgia, Mary Charles lives in Macon with her husband, Emory. Together, they have two children, George and Thomas. Outside the office, Mary Charles enjoys reading and attending sporting events for her sons.
